Attorney Bio.

Howard is a registered patent attorney, with 28 years of experience in patent and trademark prosecution, both at large law firms and as in-house counsel. Howard's practice is primarily focused on U.S. and international patent and trademark prosecution, in the areas of electro-mechanical, computer hardware, and software arts. He also represents clients in licensing matters and provides support for intellectual property litigation.

Howard (or Howie, as his friends know him) has completed ten marathons to date, and is currently training for his eleventh. He's also a tinkerer of sorts who enjoys product development, as well as staying fit while skiing, hiking, playing in the outdoors, and serving in his church's youth organization.

  • Co-founder of a successful high-tech company in the active living and sporting equipment industry
